1.1 All candidates/applicants must be graduates having minimum CGPA 2.5 on a 4.0 scale. Applicants having third division/class will not be allowed to get admitted to the Professional Master’s Program.

1.2 The following are the major criteria of the eligibility for admission

1. a) Graduates from Social Welfare/ Social Work/ or having one Arts, Social Sciences or Business Subject or Law, Psychology, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Leather Technology, Police Science, Home Economics, Education, Disaster Management, Medicine, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Occupational/Language Therapy and Geography. or
2. b) Graduates in other disciplines may apply for admission provided they have at least 2 year’s work experience either in Government, Semi-Government, NGOs, Development fields or research Organizations. or
3. c) Candidates with Master’s Degree in any disciplines other than Social Sciences will also be eligible for admission.

1.3 Any problem arising out of the criterion for admission will be solved by the Academic Committee of the Institute of Social Welfare and Research.
